Q. How do I place and ad?
A. Placing an ad is very easy.
- The first step is to click on the word "Place Rental Ad" located in the top menu bar.
- Fill in the necessary information about your property. Be as descriptive and thorough as possible so potential tenants can learn as much about your property as they can.
- One you have entered all the necessary information, click on the "Next Step" button to continue to the payment options.
- On the payment page select the duration of your ad and enter all the billing and property reference information (so we make sure the payment is applied to the correct property).
- When your order has processed please make sure you print a receipt for your records.
Q. After I place an ad, how long until people can find it on the internet?
A. Your ad will be listed within 48 hours of payment authorization. Photos are also posted within 48 hours of receipt by email (as long as they are sent according to the photo requirements listed below).
Q. How do people contact me if they are interested in my ads?
A. When a potential tenant sees an ad, they can click on the "view details" button to get more information. From there, they will see your telephone number. The potential tenant can directly call you from the information supplied in the ad.
Q. How many pictures can I place per Ad?
A. You can put up to 5 photos per ad! These photos can be pictures of the property, floor plans, and exterior, at no additional charge.
Q. How do I place a photo for an ad?
A. When placing your ad, the web site you will be emailed step-by-step instructions on how to send us your photos:
- Email photos to photos@coloradorentalproperty.net.
- Make sure you include your name and the property address in the email message.
Photo Requirements: (if photos do not meet these requirements they maybe rejected)
- You are limited to 5 photos total
- One of the Photos Needs to be a Front Facing Exterior Photo
- Photos Should approx. 400x500 pixels and NO Larger than 180 kilobytes each
To view the size of a file:
a) Windows users right click on a photo a select properties
b) Mac users click once on a photo and from the top menu select File/Get Info
- Photos Should be in the JPEG Format (or .jpg)

From any page you can click on the type of category for the type of home you want to look for and see all the properties in that specific category. You can also use the powerful search feature from the top of each listing page. From there you can filter on the type of property, location, and price range. Also, the "New" search option will show you the newest ads posted to the website.
Q. How do I get additional information about the properties I like?
A. When you see a property you are interested in, click on the "View Details" button for that ad. You will see the property manager's name and contact information. You can directly contact the property manager from this information.
