Golden Gate Canyon State Park, is a 14,000 acre state park located 16 miles northwest of Golden, Colorado.

The incredible scenery and numerous outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, horseback riding, hiking, cycling, camping, and a variety of winter sports make it a year round destination.

Unique Attraction
Tours of the Coors Brewery are a main attraction in Golden. Tours run Monday thru Saturday and offer free sampling to visitors over 21 with proper identification.

They also offer a gift shop with a wide variety of gifts and souvenirs.

History and Museums
Golden is home to Buffalo Bills Grave and Museum, the Astor House Museum, Clear Creek History Park, the Colorado Railroad Museum, the Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, and the Golden Pioneer Museum.
