History
In front of City Hall is the Miners Memorial statue, a symbol of the coal miners who built Louisville.

The Louisville Historical Museum occupies two historic buildings constructed between 1904 and 1908. The main building is historically known as the Jacoe Store and features a variety of artifacts and historic photographs that reflect the settlement and industry of Louisville, including coal mining and equipment.

Louisville, Colorado is located in Boulder County, about six miles east of the city of Boulder and nearly 25 miles northwest of Denver. The city is 4,764 acres, of which 1,700 acres are designated as open space.
