Description of Morrison
Morrison, Colorado is located at the mouth of Bear
Creek Canyon, in Jefferson County. Known as the Nearest
Faraway Place, it is a small but thriving town whose
major industry is tourism.
Morrison was established in 1874 and still continues
to bring tourists out of the big city to enjoy the small
town atmosphere. The Morrison Theatre Company offers
plays throughout the year.
