for use with bikes, rollerblades, and skateboards.
The city of Thornton is also home to Thorncreek
Golf Course. This is a beautiful 18 hole,
par 72, regulation public, golf course.
Shopping Thornton Town Center Mall is a
great place to shop.
Future
Growth Thornton is planning a new business
park to be developed near the future E-470
highway. This new development, to be known
as Centricom Colorado, will increase the
City’s tax base and bring new high
technology companies to the area, therefore,
many new jobs.

Thornton uses primarily the Adams County School Districts.
Some of its largest employers include Tele Tech, Adams
County School Districts 1 & 12, EchoStar, American
Furniture Warehouse, North Suburban Medical Center, Nature
Smart, and the City of Thornton Municipality.
