Denver’s Top Shopping Malls

The Mile High City features of these top shopping centers. From the luxury labels of Cherry Creek to the discount prices of Colorado Mills, there’s a store for every style and budget.

1. Park Meadows Mall

Park Meadows Mall was built to resemble a mountain lodge, with plenty of wood beams and open spaces. The mall includes specialty stores such as The Buckle, which will hem jeans purchased at the store free of charge. Department store anchors include Dillard’s, JC Penney, Macy’s and Nordstrom. The food court offers a wide selection of venders, and plenty of seating around a cozy fireplace. The only downside to Park Meadows is the lack of movie theater within the mall. The Park Meadows Mall is located at 8401 Park Meadows Center Dr. Lone Tree, Colorado 80124 303-792-2533

2. Cherry Creek Mall

Cherry Creek boasts the crème de la crème of brand-name stores in Denver. Whether you’re a Burberry babe or a Lacoste lad, Cherry Creek offers the widest selection of premium labels. Department store anchors include Macy’s, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. The mall’s movie theater was recently renovated, and a Nordstrom store is slated to open soon. The only downside to Cherry Creek is its meager food court, which consists of a handful of fast-food restaurants. The Cherry Creek Mall is located at 3000 E. First Ave. Denver, CO 80206 303-388-3900

3. Flatiron Crossing Mall
Located halfway between Denver and Boulder, Flatiron Crossing makes a convenient meeting point between the two cities. Department store anchors include Dillard’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom. Other specialty stores include Coldwater Creek and Crate & Barrel. A movie theater and several restaurant chains such as PF Changs and Il Fornaio are also located in the outdoor section of the mall. The only downside to the mall is the lack of signage directing shoppers back to the highway. Keep an eye out or you’ll end up going the wrong direction on Highway 36. Flatiron Crossing Mall is located at One West Flatiron Cir. Broomfield, CO 80021 720-887-9900

4. Denver Pavilions Mall

Designed by architect I. M. Pei, who designed the Louvre pyramid in Paris, the Denver Pavilions boasts an open-air feel. Located in the heart of downtown on the 16th Street mall, the Pavilions does not have any department store anchors. Instead, the mall features popular chains such as Banana Republic, Victoria’s Secret and Forever 21. Boutiques, bars, and a bowling alley round out the attractions, as well as a movie theater. The only downside to the Pavilions is parking, which starts at $3 an hour unless validated. The Denver Pavilions Mall is located at 500 16th Street Denver, CO 80202 303-260-6000

5. Colorado Mills Mall

Colorado Mills takes the concept of outlet malls to a new level. Every store in the Mills offers merchandise at discount prices, from Ann Taylor Factory Store to Off 5th Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet. Bargains abound for shoppers willing to put in the extra effort. A movie theater and food court also are located within the mall. The only downside is the somewhat confusing layout of the mall, which divides each section into neighborhoods. Colorado Mills Mall is located at 14500 West Colfax Ave. Lakewood, CO 80401 303-384-3000
